December 14, 2018

Axinn attorneys obtained a settlement with an economic value of more than $1 million for a pro bono client. The firm represented a plaintiff who alleged discrimination on the basis of race and gender, among other claims. After defeating the defendant’s Rule 12 motion and engaging in extensive fact and expert discovery, the Axinn team negotiated a settlement that provides for monetary payment and other terms with a present economic value of roughly $1.2 million. The Axinn team was assisted by Fran Morrison, John Tanski, Brooke Oppenheimer, and Rebecca Clegg.
