Axinn actively recruits candidates from a diverse group of applicants. The firm participates in minority job fairs, including the annual Northeast Region of the National Black Law Students Association job fair. The firm also recruits at schools with diverse student bodies and encourages all qualified applicants to consider our firm as an exciting career opportunity. Axinn also has participated in the New York City Bar’s Minority Fellowship program. 

Axinn’s inclusive workplace environment supports its retention and promotion efforts through various programs such as our employee mentor program, professional development opportunities both internal and external, as well as the work distribution process that seeks to give fair and appropriate work across all skill levels. Axinn also has established a Diversity Committee, chaired by partner Jason Murata, to further the firm’s commitment to diversity through implementation of best practices and initiatives.
