On June 15, Axinn partner Jeannine Sano participated in two panels entitled, “Litigation Trends and Forecasts” and "IPRs in a Neutral Litigation Landscape - The New Normal" at Centerforce’s Women & Diversity in Law & IP 2022 Summit in Palo Alto, California.

During "Litigation Trends and Forecasts," panelists discussed topics surrounding the complex and uncertain patent litigation environment, including defensive patenting, preparing for international litigation, conducting freedom to operate searches, obtaining clearance opinions, and changes at the PTAB.

During "IPRs in a Neutral Litigation Landscape - The New Normal," panelists discussed the current state of the IPR landscape, developing strategies for PTAB proceedings, and moving from broadest reasonable interpretation (BRI) to the Phillips standard.
