Matt Levinton is an associate in Axinn’s antitrust group. He advises clients on litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and investigations.

Matt has experience representing clients across industries, including healthcare, energy, and technology, in high-stakes competition matters. He has defended clients in government enforcement actions, supported merger review and second request compliance, and advised on the antitrust risks associated with strategic transactions. He has also represented clients in price-fixing litigation, Federal Trade Commission investigations, and matters involving platform and digital markets. He regularly manages discovery, regulatory responses, and interactions with enforcement agencies, including the Department of Justice and FTC.
Prior to joining Axinn, Matt served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office. In that role, he investigated proposed mergers and pricing practices and represented Texas in multidistrict antitrust litigation.
