Drawing from her experience practicing in Australia, the UK, as well as the U.S., she represents clients before U.S. federal and state antitrust agencies as well as international authorities, ensuring they stay compliant while achieving their goals.

Her healthcare practice is particularly robust, advising companies on how to manage antitrust risks in areas like hospital affiliations, joint ventures, accountable care organizations (ACOs), physician networks, and financial and clinical integration issues.

As an accomplished speaker and author, Lisl regularly shares insights on antitrust and competition law. She’s also actively involved in leadership roles within the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law sections. Beyond her practice, she's committed to pro bono work, advocating for LGBTQ+ and indigent clients in immigration and asylum matters.

The National Law Journal selected Rick to its inaugural list of Antitrust Trailblazers. This honor was based on accomplishments during his long tenure at the FTC, where Rick served in key roles (e.g., lead counsel, manager) in both federal and administrative trials and investigations involving some of the most important FTC merger and non-merger cases of the past twenty plus years. For example, Rick successfully served as lead trial attorney in North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners, a case that the Supreme Court affirmed.
