Before joining Axinn, William served as a law clerk for Commissioner Alvaro M. Bedoya at the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”), where he advised on ongoing Commission matters and conducted research on competition and consumer protection law and policy. William also worked as a research assistant to former FTC Chairman Bill Kovacic, for whom he researched FTC enforcement trends and the Commission’s use of Part 3 adjudication. During law school, William worked in the Criminal Appeals Clinic, where he represented a client and submitted an appellate brief to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Earlier in his career, he worked as a management consultant supporting business and technology transformations at global financial institutions.
William earned his JD with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as Senior Notes Editor of the Business and Finance Law Review. He holds a BA in American Studies and Government from Georgetown University.
