Tejaswini Gupta is an associate in Axinn’s Antitrust group. Leveraging her prior experience in the finance sector, her practice focuses on merger analysis, complex commercial litigation, and antitrust counseling and compliance.

Tejaswini counsels clients on antitrust litigation, merger clearance, and compliance, with experience handling Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filings and second request responses. She works with clients across a range of industries, providing strategic guidance on regulatory risk and competition issues.
Before joining Axinn, Tejaswini practiced in the Washington, D.C., office of an international law firm. Earlier in her career, she was a judicial extern to the Hon. Sophia Y. Vuelo of Minnesota’s Second Judicial District Court. Prior to law school, she worked in the commercial specialized lending and investments group at a leading financial institution, gaining experience in financial analysis and risk assessment.
While at the University of Virginia School of Law, Tejaswini served as Executive Editor of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law and as Vice President of Women of Color. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa as an undergraduate and remains committed to public service through an active pro bono practice, representing clients in criminal appeals and under the D.C. Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act (IRAA). She also contributed to the Virginia Innocence Project Student Group and volunteered with Legal Aid of West Virginia.
