Rachael Philbin is the Chief Innovation Officer at Axinn, with more than 20 years of experience advising law firms and global organizations on digital modernization, AI adoption, and legal service delivery. She focuses on improving how legal teams operate by integrating technology, data, and process design to drive efficiency and enhance client service.

Prior to joining Axinn, Rachael served as Innovation & Transformation Officer at Proskauer, where she led the firm’s innovation, knowledge management, and business solutions functions across 13 offices. She oversaw multidisciplinary teams spanning legal innovation, data strategy, and enterprise technology, and partnered closely with firm leadership to implement AI-enabled solutions that enhanced document analysis, surfaced firm data and knowledge, and streamlined drafting and legal workflows.
Rachael has deep experience developing scalable operating models and modernizing legal service delivery. She has led firmwide transformation initiatives integrating automation, process redesign, and workforce optimization, and established governance frameworks to measure adoption, performance, and return on investment.
Earlier in her career, Rachael was Counsel at Perkins Coie, where she built and managed a multimillion-dollar practice and developed innovative service delivery models, including AI-enabled large-scale eDiscovery operations and due diligence solutions. She also brings in-house experience from a secondment at a Fortune 100 Global QSR franchise, advising on eDiscovery strategy, compliance, and data governance.
