Axinn Team Receives Am Law “Litigator of the Week” Shout Out for Representation of Chess Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen

The Axinn team, led by partners Craig Reiser and Denise Plunkett, with assistance from Eva Yung and Claire Haws, received a shout out from The American Lawyer in its “Litigator of the Week” column for their successful defense of the claims brought by Hans Niemann against Magnus Carlsen in the high-profile chess cheating lawsuit against Carlsen and four other defendants. The Axinn team was supported by Missouri counsel at Stinson LLP and worked alongside co-counsel at Latham & Watkins LLP, who were also recognized for their representation of Chess.com, Danny Rensch, and Play Magnus; as well as Michael J.
