
Duncan Weals is an associate in the antitrust group in Axinn’s Washington, DC office. His practice focuses on antitrust litigation and criminal enforcement.
Duncan earned his JD at Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Managing Editor of the American Criminal Law Review and volunteered at the Landlord Tenant Resource Center, which provides a range of free legal information to unrepresented landlords and tenants who have residential housing disputes in the District of Columbia. While in school, Duncan was a Legal Intern for the Department of Justice’s Civil Division, helping to litigate on behalf of the US government in actions arising under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
Duncan started as a summer associate with Axinn in 2021. Before returning to Axinn, Duncan was also a legal extern for the Honorable Jia M. Cobb of the US District Court for DC, as well as the Honorable Barbara J. Rothstein.
Prior to law school, Duncan was a paralegal for another Washington, DC law firm. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Rochester and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
