Darpan Singh is an associate in Axinn's Antitrust group. Her practice focuses on antitrust law, including litigation and government investigations.

Darpan received her JD at the University of California, College of the Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where she served as a staff editor and then senior symposium editor at the Hastings Law Journal, co-president of the Hastings Intellectual Property Association, and was a member of UC Hastings Sikh Law Students Association and Women’s Law Society. During law school, she was a student associate for the UC Hastings Startup Legal Garage Patent Module and assisted with pro bono legal work for biotech startup companies looking to build their patent portfolios.

She graduated with honors from Chapman University with a BS in Chemistry and was top 15% of her class at UC Law SF. Darpan was a summer associate with Axinn in 2021.

Experience

Representing Google in antitrust cases about its advertising technology business brought by the United States Department of Justice, various State Attorneys General, and various class and direct-action plaintiffs in Virginia, Texas, and New York federal courts, including serving on the trial team for the DOJ case.
Representing Google in various investigations of its business practices in jurisdictions around the world.
Defense of Paragraph IV patent litigation involving a drug product in a medical device.
Represent Endo in asserting three patents against Nexus’s ready-to-use ephedrine prefilled syringe products.
Represented and got favorable settlement for pro bono client in Section 1983 case in Northern District of California.

His practice further includes counseling services related to patent portfolio evaluation, drafting of licensing agreements and other contracts, and pro bono work related to local business disputes and Section 1983 civil rights litigation.
