Claire Haws is an associate in the litigation group in Axinn’s New York office. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.

Claire earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School where she was a Senior Notes Editor at the Michigan Business and Entrepreneurial Law Review and was a member of the Women Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Axinn, Claire was a law clerk at the appeals court division of the City of Chicago Department of Law. She assisted with an appellate briefing and oral argument in cases involving the City’s many Departments.

Claire graduated from Northwestern University, where she doubled majored in Political Science and in Legal Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Claire was a Research Assistant at the Institute of International Relations in Prague.

She was a summer associate with Axinn in 2021.
