Matt Fernández Konigsberg is a seasoned legal professional with a diverse background spanning various sectors of law. He has experience in the areas of conflicts, ethics, compliance, investigations, and risk assessment, including contract negotiations, regulatory inquiries, and the development of anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies.

Prior to joining Axinn, Matt served as a Risk & Compliance Counsel at an international New York firm, where he focused on high-risk financial and reputational matters. Before transitioning to private practice, Matt held positions within the public sector, including Special Counsel for Ethics, Risk, and Compliance at the State of New York Governor's Office. He worked closely with regulatory agencies and law enforcement to address fraud, waste, and abuse, while also implementing enterprise-wide due diligence systems, ethics programs, and conducting internal investigations. Matt began his career as a commercial litigator and civil trial attorney in the public and private sector.

Matt earned his JD from Rutgers School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in English Language & Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
