Kyle Sherwood advises clients on a full range of antitrust matters with a focus on high-stakes global mergers. He represents clients across industries, including software, biotechnology, defense, and others.

Kyle has substantial experience guiding clients through complex merger reviews. His recent experience includes serving as lead global antitrust counsel to VMware in its landmark $69 billion acquisition by Broadcom and representing Ball Corporation in its $5.6 billion sale of its aerospace division to BAE systems.

Prior to law school, Kyle was an honors paralegal in the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition for three years, working on investigations and litigations involving mergers and anticompetitive practices.

  • Represented VMware, Inc., a leading virtualization software provider, in its $69 billion acquisition by Broadcom Inc., a global technology leader in semiconductor, data center hardware, and infrastructure software solutions.
  • Represented Thermo Fisher Scientific in its $2.6 billion acquisition of The Binding Site.
  •  Represented Thermo Fisher Scientific in its $1.85 billion acquisition of PeproTech Inc.
