On June 21, Axinn partner Ted Mathias spoke on a panel entitled, "Avoiding Nuclear Verdicts" at Magna Legal Services' Chopped for CHOP Conference held June 21-22 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 

As avoiding nuclear verdicts remains a top priority for corporate counsel, panelists discussed plaintiffs’ tactics and juror attitudes that are driving the increase in these verdicts. Panelists also provided strategies for use in discovery, jury research, jury selection, and at trial for companies to minimize the possibility of nuclear verdicts.
