Founded in 1968 by Algernon Johnson Cooper at New York University School of Law, NEBLSA is the founding region of the National Black Law Students Association. (NBLSA). NBLSA is a national nonprofit organization committed to increasing the number of culturally responsible Black and minority attorneys who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
