Axinn partners Mike Keeley and Paul Zeineddin will speak at IAM & GCR's SEP Summit, taking place virtually on September 28 and 29.
Mike will participate in a panel entitled, "The Global SEP Policy Landscape." This panel will address several topics regarding SEPs, including the Biden Administration’s agenda, the European Commission IP Action Plan, and its recommendations for the licensing of SEPs, and China.
Paul will participate in a panel entitled, "Holding Up and Holding Out: The Evolution of Licensing Negotiations." This panel will discuss the implications of key global case law developments, the competition implications of hold-up or hold-out in the relationship between patent holders and implementers, how to stay on the right side of FRAND, and European Commission antitrust guidance on standardization agreements.
