On November 9, Axinn partner Jeny Maier spoke on a panel entitled, "Social Issues in Merger Review" at Global Competition Review's Women in Antitrust Conference in Washington, DC. 

Panelists offered insights and analysis on how to keep deals moving forward in this time of increased risk of deal uncertainty as antitrust enforcement agencies consider an increasingly broad scope of issues such as climate change, sustainability, and labor. Panelists also discussed when it is appropriate for merger reviews to address such issues and when it goes too far.
