On October 19, Axinn partner John Harkrider moderated a panel entitled, "Back to the Future: Does There Remain a Role for Economics in Merger Review?" at Global Competition Review's Global Merger Control Conference in Brussels. 

As competition authorities around the world reconsider their approach to merger review, panelists discussed the role of economics in the new paradigm and consider what economic evidence and analysis merging parties can produce to address the novel theories of harm being advanced by the competition authorities.
