On November 17, Axinn partner Leslie Overton spoke on a panel entitled, "Antitrust Enforcement in Times of Economic Distress" at the GCR Interactive: Women in Antitrust Virtual Conference. 

Leslie's panel examined how antitrust agencies are responding to the coronavirus pandemic and related economic crisis. Speakers considered recent calls for a potential moratorium on opportunistic takeovers in the United States and discussed proposed European measures to prevent anticompetitive distortion in the single market caused by foreign subsidies and acquisitions of distressed assets.
