On December 7, Axinn partner Jason Murata spoke at the DEI (Diversity Equity & Inclusion) Program: Perspectives from LGBTQ Professionals, hosted by the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

During “Authentic Allyship: Perspectives from LGBTQ Attorneys,” panelists discussed the challenges of being LGBTQ in the IP field and how we can create an open and welcoming environment for all to bring their authentic selves to work. Following the panel, there was a roundtable discussion regarding the obstacles and efforts at organizations to promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) for LGBTQ professionals.
