On June 27, Axinn partner Tiffany Rider served as a panelist on a demonstration entitled, “The Leniency Decision: Outside Counsel Prepares for and Meets with a Company Board” during the American Bar Association’s 14th International Cartel Workshop.

The demonstration showed the discovery of potentially serious antitrust misconduct during a merger and included a discussion with inside and outside counsel about the legality of output restriction agreements and the application of antitrust laws to such agreements. Inside and outside counsel also provided an initial risk assessment, including whether to apply for leniency, to the company’s board of directors.
