The Connecticut Law Tribune Honors Two Axinn Attorneys
March 26, 2018

The Connecticut Law Tribune has named two Axinn attorneys to their annual list of Professional Excellence Award winners. Partner Fran Morrison has received the publication’s Lifetime Achievement Award and associate Jarod Taylor has been recognized as a New Leader in the Law.

Over four decades of continuous practice, Fran Morrison has participated in trial verdicts and judgments for hundreds of cases involving millions — and even billions of dollars at stake. Fran has successfully resolved, settled, litigated, tried and appealed major claims involving intellectual property; product liability; commercial, fraud and unfair trade; civil rights, tax exemption and medical malpractice; and high tech, gas turbine, commercial trucking, tobacco and health-related issues. He has also devoted thousands of pro bono hours defending veterans’ rights and helping them adjust to civilian life after duty.

As an associate in Axinn’s litigation department, Jarod Taylor has experience with litigation in federal courts across the country, as well as with arbitration and internal and governmental investigations. Jarod has litigated cases involving contract disputes; business torts; patent infringement; and Fair, Reasonable And Non-Discriminatory (“FRAND”) licensing obligations. Jarod is dedicated to helping those less fortunate, contributing over 600 hours to pro bono clients in 2017.

Axinn congratulates Fran and Jarod on their awards and accomplishments. A dinner celebrating 2018’s Professional Excellence Award winners will be held on May 24.
