Axinn Representing Ex-Restaurant Workers of Bankrupt Celebrity Chef
November 5, 2020
Mike Isabella quickly rose to fame as a celebrity chef, but his restaurant empire faltered after allegations of sexual harassment. Requin was one of Mike Isabella’s restaurants, located at the Wharf in Washington, D.C., before it closed suddenly in 2018. Employees allege that they were not paid for all hours worked, and many showed up to a scheduled shift only to find Requin’s doors locked. Axinn is proud to be partnering with the Washington Lawyer’s Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs to help ex-Requin employees obtain the wages they’re lawfully owed. The Axinn team includes Nicholas Gaglio, Ricardo Camposanto, and Lindsey Strang.
