January 25, 2018
The New York State Bar Association recognized Axinn and eleven Axinn attorneys at the Seventeenth Annual Justice for All Luncheon, which celebrated the pro bono contributions of firms and attorneys that qualified as Empire State Counsel for 2017. The NYSBA’s prestigious Empire State Counsel program is only open to attorneys that contribute at least 50 hours of pro bono service in a calendar year, and recognizes firms that have at least three attorneys that qualify. The Axinn attorneys honored as Empire State Counsel for 2017 are: Kail Jethmalani, Carol Liu, Michael O'Mara, Russell Steinthal, and Jarod Taylor. Axinn attorneys collectively contributed approximately 2,400 hours of pro bono work in 2017 – a significant contribution to our communities.
