Axinn Wins ICC Arbitration on Behalf of Major European Airframe Manufacturer
April 28, 2011
On April 28, 2011, Axinn successfully obtained for its client an arbitration award in excess of $14 million in a breach of contract claim against a U.S.-based company. The three-member arbitral tribunal, which was impaneled under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce and seated in Geneva, issued a 163-page award in favor of the manufacturer on all of its claims. Although the customer had asserted counterclaims, the tribunal rejected those counterclaims in their entirety.
Axinn's Michael L. Keeley and Thomas G. Rohback worked with the client’s in-house team to achieve this success.
