On October 8, Axinn partner Michael O'Mara will speak at the International Bar Association's 2026 Annual Conference, being held October 4-9 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Michael will speak on the "Not Following the Rules Can Cost You: Anti-Competition Law Used to Punish Improper IP Enforcement" panel, which will explore the interplay between IP rights enforcement and competition law—including how legitimate enforcement of exclusive rights can be reconciled with prohibitions on abuse of dominant position or economic dependency.
Axinn will also be represented at the conference by partners Aziz Burgy and Mary Helen Wimberly.
