Kelly McCluer is an associate in the antitrust group in Axinn’s Washington, DC office. Her practice focuses on antitrust law, specifically in the health care, life sciences, and digital markets industries.
Kelly earned her JD at Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as a Senior Editor for the Georgetown Law and Technology Review, as an intern at the Federal Trade Commission’s Health Care Division, and as a student attorney in the Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic. While in law school, she was a law clerk for a global law firm, where she supported counsel in class-action and antitrust pharmaceutical litigation. In this role, she studied the intersection of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and biologics, and patent protections. Prior to law school, Kelly supported economic experts in antitrust litigation in the pharmaceutical and health insurance industries. She also maintains an active pro bono practice assisting refugees obtain political asylum.
Kelly was a summer associate with Axinn in 2019 and holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
