On December 10 and 12, eDiscovery attorney Brooke Oppenheimer spoke on three panels at the 2019 IG3 West eDiscovery & Information Governance in Newport Beach, CA. 

On December 10, Brooke spoke on, "Data Breach: Incident Response Notification." This panel discussed how the notification process differs greatly from a traditional document review; what technologies are available to response teams and outside counsel to manage the process and best practices to leverage during a notification.

On December 10, Brooke spoke on a panel entitled, "Staying on Pointe: The Striking Similarities between Ballet and eDiscovery." In this panel discussion, industry experts from each type of company covered some of the key ways to ensure a great performance as well as how to avoid common performance inhibiting missteps.

On December 12, Brooke spoke on, "ISO 27701: Leveraging the New Data Privacy Standard as a Competitive Advantage." This panel discussed how ISO 27701 aligns with ISO’s Information Security standard, what is involved in establishing a privacy information management system (PIMS), and how implementing the standard can boost your business.
