On December 8, Axinn partner Koren Wong-Ervin participated in a panel entitled, "Competition in Labor Markets: What Antitrust Has to do With That?" at Concurrence's 7th Global Antitrust Economics Conference in New York.
Panelists discussed the threat of monopsony in the labor market and actions that are being considered to counter the power of employers, including more support for unions; higher minimum wages; enforcement of antitrust laws in labor markets; and prohibition of non-compete agreements. Panelists also discussed the US, UK, and EU perspectives on issues related to non-solicitation and non-competition agreements.
