On September 12, Axinn partner Koren Wong-Ervin moderated a panel entitled, "Merger Control: New Challenges Ahead" at Concurrence's 10th Bill Kovacic Antitrust Salon in Washington, DC.
Panelists discussed the challenges to come with US antitrust agencies aiming to adopt new merger guidelines by the end of the year. They also addressed the growing number of merger control regimes causing leading parties in transactions to operate in an increasingly complex web of notification requirements, review times and processes, and substantive review frameworks.
