On March 22, Axinn partner Chad Landmon spoke on a panel entitled, "Patents and Related IP Protections and Mechanisms" at American Conference Institute's 40th Annual FDA Boot Camp held virtually March 22-23. 

The session covered several topics on patent protection for drugs and biologics, including summarizing the patenting process for drugs and biologics; distinguishing the patenting process for drugs from that of biologics; selecting a brand name for a proposed drug product; and identifying the necessary PTO and FDA clearances for trade name/trademark approval on products.
