April 18, 2014

Axinn is pleased to announce Chad Landmon, Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property and FDA practice groups, has been named a 2014 Law360 “Rising Star” in the category of Intellectual Property. The national award recognizes top legal talent under the age of 40 in 28 practice areas. Mr. Landmon is one of only eight individuals who have been named Law360 Rising Stars twice in a row, receiving the honor in both 2013 and 2014.

At 39 years old, Mr. Landmon is recognized as a leading advocate for pharmaceutical companies before FDA and premier patent litigator and counselor on issues involving the development and marketing of generic drugs and human tissue products.

“...his IP litigation and counseling skills combined with his uniquely comprehensive knowledge of the FDA that sets him apart from his peers and makes him sought after by clients, said Axinn managing partner James Veltrop."

Law360 named 163 attorneys to its Rising Stars List for 2013, after its editorial team reviewed over 1,000 nominees. Landmon was named as one of only three “Rising Stars” in the life sciences area. Winners will be profiled by Law360.

Mr. Landmon is well-known in the FDA community and advocates for clients before FDA, both informally and formally through FDA’s citizen petition process. He has obtained a number of key victories representing clients in suits involving the FDA.
