To our health care professionals, first responders, and anyone on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, thank you.
Axinn is committed to continuing to provide our clients with the highest levels of service during this pandemic, as well as helping to ensure the health and safety of our clients, colleagues, families, and communities. We are closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the CDC, WHO and local public health departments, and have taken a number of steps in response.
- On March 11, 2020 Axinn recommended that all of our employees work remotely. We had taken a number of steps to prepare for this eventuality, including providing every member of our team (attorneys and all professional staff) with the training and tools necessary to work remotely while maintaining the security and confidentiality of our work. We were pleased that our efforts led to a very smooth transition, and all of our operations – legal, finance, technology, etc. – are fully functional.
- We have instituted mandatory self-quarantine for anyone traveling to and from countries or areas labeled as high risk by the CDC, and we have effectively banned non-essential business travel. We will continue to travel to service client needs as necessary, but are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of our employees and families.
We are confident that the tools our team has at its disposal – from access to all regular firm systems and communication tools – will ensure we maintain the highest level of client service. However, we recognize that the situation is rapidly evolving and may continue to do so for some time. We always welcome feedback, but are particularly keen to hear from you now. If there is anything we can do better or if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We wish you, your colleagues and families well and hope for your continued health and safety during this difficult time.
