Axinn Honored with Outstanding Achievement Award

Axinn is the proud recipient of the ‎Outstanding ‎Achievement Award from the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. ‎The firm received this award in recognition of its collaborative effort with ‎the Washington Lawyers’ Committee and its Disability Rights Project on Gail Stanley v. Robert McDonald.

The case was handled by associates Bill Rose, Brandon Boxbaum and Brett Garrison.

The Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, established in 1968, provides pro bono legal services to address discrimination and entrenched poverty in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area, in large part by mobilizing the resources of the private bar.
